The work begins

Since arriving, I have mostly been busy with training. So it’s been nice to finally get stuck into some work.

The training has been really fun though. We’ve learned things like how to maintain and ride skidoos and how to survive in the field if we end up far from base and aren’t able to get back.

I have managed to locate our office. We’ve been given a room in Bransfield House which we will use as a base for our fieldwork operations. I expect I will spend quite a lot of time here planning flights and post processing data.
